‘Love you, love your show’ was something my ex-husband, Michael, would jokingly say when saying goodbye to friends.
I always loved it because it’s true—each of us is a whole show, a whole world.
In this live, I encouraged everyone listening (and everyone reading this now) to consider doing livestreams.
What gnowledge do you have to share? What is your medicine, as
calls it? What would you talk about all day if you could? (Because you can!)I want to watch your show. I want all of Substack (and the other apps, in time) to be resonance fields, where the people whose ‘shows’ receive the most viewership (and money, for now) are those who provide the most service, as
calls it, ‘a healer’s economy.’That, of course, includes fun shows—live plays and comedy, visual arts, and all manner of apprenticeships. Life is meant to be FUN. Learning is meant to be joyful.
There’s no difference between work and play. That’s our motto.
I suggest free livestreams, but charging for private calls or group gatherings. Set up your Substack subscriptions, but also include a Kofi or Buy Me a Coffee link on your about page. And Venmo. And Cashapp. Whatever you want.
Let’s make mutual aid easy. Let’s make hanging out and learning from one another fun and fluid.
We just take over, that’s all. :)
Love you, love your show,
M
