Y’all are great together and have some thought provoking ideas! 😄 So about the money, the current problem is interest/debt/inflation but maybe we still need an IOU but instead based on gift or resource (still need ownership) and we can mint our own money if needed based on gifting our time or resources. For example I mint a token for my days work (there I go breaking another decree 😂) or I can mint a token for my lawnmower. I can then trade a piece of my token to my neighbor who grows carrots and potatoes, or either of us can transact with others indirectly on the blockchain for our needs. If someone ever wanted to redeem instead of just trade my rouge tokens I would work for them or in the case of my lawnmower, borrowing it or re-homing it, or I could have exchanged that withdraw with other tokens I had saved up in equivalent value units. The current money is based on nothing and engineering by the stock market and fractional banking. I’m sure Jack and the anarchists can get behind the approach of resource backed crypto.
Jeff I’m lol! Just to play with.. what if the idea of ownership is gone. There’s still ‘our stuff’ .. like, the things we’ve accumulated that natural ‘belong’ to us.. but the truth is even now we don’t own it. It’s ours temporarily. That mower doesn’t die with us. So it’s not owned it’s borrowed
So the exchange is not trade.. no iou.. it’s just sharing. Imagine the whole world is family and the whole earth is ours, since we are the earth, and each other..we are all made of the same stuff.

It’s a simple idea —- trading services / products to eliminate the need for government money. A typical scenario — a neighbor lends me her car for a day trip … I arrange my car mechanic to do some repair on her car … who is doing that work in return for landscaping work I did for him. All transactions without money (though some networks have a community script to keep “account”), building community. You have created a unique variety for yourself in the virtual world, with all the healers you’ve interviewed, that you are trading your “medicines” with.
In the 3D world, though, this is working best among people who live in physical proximity (as in the Jon Jandai inspired and Kenya communities).
