A Call To Arms (The Hugging Kind)

An invitation to feel our connectedness, our arms around each other

Thank you to everyone on the livestream. Thank you for exploring—for seeing and feeling our togetherness—our one body, our one mind. And thank you for holding space for my tears; may they normalize your healing in public (being emotionally vulnerable in public is a public service!)

Topics:

-I will be holding a public vigil/service this Sunday June 15th at 8am PST for the marchers to Gaza. My friend Ginny and I will be reading poetry, singing songs, ringing bells, and leading prayer/holding space for the pilgrimage. We’ve heard news of many marchers being detained and deported in Cairo, but we plan to continue, as thousands of marchers still plan to.

-A reflection on rising together, versus holding out for a hero (which I caught myself doing a bit with Marianne Williamson). It is our chorus, not the singular voice, that melts the hearts of the grinches.

-Meditation/exploration into the body and into oneness, with the prompts to drop the idea of money, government, gender, race, country—to see and feel the world without division. We shared what we saw.

-Please continue sharing your visions of the free world, of Nova Gaia in my pinned post The People’s Trust.
